经文：创世记 32:22-33:5
[创世记 32:22] 他夜间起来、带着两个妻子、两个使女、并十一个儿子都过了雅博渡口。
[创世记 32:23] 先打发他们过河、又打发所有的都过去．
[创世记 32:24] 只剩下雅各一人．有一个人来和他摔跤、直到黎明。
[创世记 32:25] 那人见自己胜不过他、就将他的大腿窝摸了一把、雅各的大腿窝、正在摔跤的时候就扭了。
[创世记 32:26] 那人说、天黎明了、容我去吧．雅各说、你不给我祝福、我就不容你去。
[创世记 32:27] 那人说、你名叫甚么、他说、我名叫雅各。
[创世记 32:28] 那人说、你的名不要再叫雅各、要叫以色列、因为你与 神与人较力、都得了胜。
[创世记 32:29] 雅各问他说、请将你的名告诉我．那人说、何必问我的名．于是在那里给雅各祝福。
[创世记 32:30] 雅各便给那地方起名叫毗努伊勒。〔就是 神之面的意思〕意思说、我面对面见了 神、我的性命仍得保全。
[创世记 32:31] 日头刚出来的时候、雅各经过毗努伊勒、他的大腿就瘸了。
[创世记 32:32] 故此以色列人不吃大腿窝的筋、直到今日、因为那人摸了雅各大腿窝的筋。
[创世记 33:1] 雅各举目观看、见以扫来了、后头跟着四百人．他就把孩子们分开交给利亚、拉结、和两个使女．
[创世记 33:2] 并且叫两个使女和他们的孩子在前头、利亚和他的孩子在后头、拉结和约瑟在尽后头。
[创世记 33:3] 他自己在他们前头过去、一连七次俯伏在地、才就近他哥哥。
[创世记 33:4] 以扫跑来迎接他、将他抱住、又搂着他的颈项与他亲嘴、两个人就哭了。
[创世记 33:5] 以扫举目看见妇人孩子、就说、这些和你同行的是谁呢．雅各说、这些孩子是 神施恩给你的仆人的。
经文：创世记 genesis 32:22-33:5
[Genesis 32:22] That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok
[Genesis 32:23] After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions
[Genesis 32:24] So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak
[Genesis 32:25] When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man
[Genesis 32:26] Then the man said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak." But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me.
[Genesis 32:27] The man asked him, "What is your name?" "Jacob," he answered
[Genesis 32:28] Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.
[Genesis 32:29] Jacob said, "Please tell me your name." But he replied, "Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there
[Genesis 32:30] So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.
[Genesis 32:31] The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip
[Genesis 32:32] Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon
[Genesis 33:1] Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel and the two female servants
[Genesis 33:2] He put the female servants and their children in front, Leah and her children next, and Rachel and Joseph in the rear
[Genesis 33:3] He himself went on ahead and bowed down to the ground seven times as he approached his brother
[Genesis 33:4] But Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept
[Genesis 33:5] Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. "Who are these with you?" he asked. Jacob answered, "They are the children God has graciously given your servant.
